Privacy policy

Busan Soundroom is a companion site for the Roblox experience Busan Yardline, run by the game’s developer. It holds the song library that players pick from at the in-game stage.

We use Roblox OAuth only to sign you in. We ask for the openid and profile scopes and receive your Roblox user ID, username and display name. The access token Roblox gives us is used once to read those details and is not stored.

• A session cookie with your Roblox user ID, username, display name and a security token. It lasts up to 7 days, or until you sign out.
• Songs you add: the MIDI file, its title and artist, and your Roblox user ID as the uploader. Song names and uploaders are shown to the owner and the people he gives access.
• A change log: when someone adds, edits, deletes or restores a song, or the owner gives or removes access, we record the account’s Roblox user ID, the time, and the values before and after. It is kept for one year.
• Request logs: our host, Railway, records each request, including your IP address, for security and troubleshooting, and keeps them for a limited period under its retention policy.
• Song searches from game servers: Busan Yardline servers send the text of in-game song searches here. They are cached for up to 7 days without any player’s identity attached.

Public Roblox profile details (display names and avatar pictures) for uploaders are read from Roblox’s public APIs and cached.

The site runs on Railway. The song library itself is stored on Cloudflare. Songs imported from MuseScore are downloaded from MuseScore.

We do not sell or share your data, show ads, or use analytics or tracking scripts.

Signing out removes the session cookie from your browser. To have your uploader credit or change log entries removed, contact us and we will delete or anonymise them.
